Four new spots to try out this fall

A hotel facing the sea, a new spot on the beach, a contemporary trattoria... Monaco Marine unveils the new unmissable spots of the Côte d'Azur, which are an ideal way to enjoy the sunny days of September.

Les Bords de Mer in Marseille

A new hotel has opened its doors in Marseille! Welcome to Les Bords de Mer, which is located in a former motel a few feet away from the Catalans beach. If the original façade was relatively untouched, its 19 rooms have been completely redesigned by Marseille-based architect Yvann Pluskwa: good news, they all feature terraces or balconies with breathtaking views of the sea. Between its rooftop pool and Mediterranean restaurant, this new spot is a perfect place to extend the summer.

Le Cheval Blanc in Saint-Tropez

It has been two years since architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte started orchestrating the renovation of the Cheval Blanc in Saint-Tropez. It is now achieved since this mythical hotel established in a 1930’s villa, recently unveiled its new identity. Its 31 rehabilitated rooms feature clear hues with touches of deep azure blue, which recall the color of the sky. To highlight its heritage and show its commitment to creativity and craftsmanship, the hotel honors the work of ceramic artist Roger Capron in different areas, such as the rooms and the lobby. But its highlight undoubtedly lies in its swimming pool sheltered by the pines, which gives direct access to a beautiful private beach…

Miamici in Nice

It is on the emblematic Boulevard Victor Hugo, in the city of Nice, that Miamici opened its doors. This contemporary trattoria offers tasteful dishes made exclusively from the best Italian products. On the menu? Pizzas, mortadella al tartufo, fresh pasta à la norma, finocchiona toscana… These specialties can be enjoyed on the inviting terrace, bordered by orange and lemon trees.

La Réserve à la Plage in Saint-Tropez

A new spot on the edge of the water has opened! Michel Reybier, founder of La Réserve and designer Philippe Starck joined forces to create La Réserve à la Plage, a charming hut-inspired place featuring a bar, a restaurant and a store. Conceived as an ideal place to spend time "sleeping in the shade of a canisse, watching the boats go by and laughing with friends" (in the words of Starck), La Réserve à la Plage embodies a perfect mix of elegance, simplicity and warmth. We recommend going there to enjoy grilled sardines with garlic and fennel, a Peruvian guacamole or a tuna tartare with mango, before spending the afternoon lying on the deckchairs, with an incredible view on the Mediterranean sea.
