Charlotte de Fayet breathes new life into the iconic knitwear brand
Molli, the knitwear revival

A comforting softness, an iconic stitch, a timeless elegance... These words all embody Molli’s style. The historic brand, born at the end of the 19th century, was recently revived by entrepreneur Charlotte de Fayet .

Throwback to 2015, when the birth of Charlotte’s second child convinced her to take on a daunting challenge: to revive Molli, a brand she has always loved. Founded at the end of the 19th century, Molli became known for crafting the first woolen baby layettes in the 1950s. Charlotte decided to write a new page in the brand’s history, which consisted in developing a women’s wardrobe. In addition to designs for 0-12 months, she has created « extremely refined pieces » for women, « sublimated by beautiful details », according to her words.

As a rigorous perfectionist, she is dedicated to offering quality pieces highlighting the know-how of the craftsmen who make them in her French and Italian ateliers. Among Molli’s key pieces? Ruffle-knit tops or knit tops, subtly oversized sweaters or pleated skirts, which are perfect for facing the sea breeze or warming up after coming out of the water.
